Meadow Wood School Learning Platform
The Meadow Wood Learning Platform is an online system accessible around the clock from wherever you happen to be using a computer with an Internet connection. It is designed to support teaching, learning, management and adminstration within our school by improving collaboration and communication among staff, governors, parents and children, and by enabling more effective ways of working.
The Meadow Wood Learning Platform aims to :
- facilitate communication within the school and beyond, and allow staff, governors, children and parents to share and discuss issues online that are important to them
- allow parents to know what is happening at Meadow Wood at any time during the school year and whenever is convenient for them
- enable parents to play a greater part in their children's learning and life at school in general
- provide up-to-date management information for parents and the school on children's attendance and educational progress
The Meadow Wood Learning Platform will evolve over the next two years, and will initially be developed and used with one part of the school community - Governors - from Autumn 2009 before being made more widely available to staff, children and their parents.
