Meadow Wood is a primary special school for children with physical and neurological impairments. The purpose of the school is to enable children to learn and achieve within a broad, balanced and relevant physical curriculum – a curriculum which sets out to develop children’s physical functioning, communication skills and independence through their daily educational experiences. To achieve this, education and health professionals work closely together to ensure an integrated approach to meeting children's learning, therapy, healthcare and care needs. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens, Meadow Wood benefits from a wide range of specialist resources including a Soft Play Room, Sensory Room and Hydrotherapy Pool.
